At 14,265 feet, Quandary Peak is the only 14'er in the Tenmile Range. It is a pretty straight forward climb with 3450 feet of vertical climb. I did this one week after returning from Nepal and found myself on the mountain by myself. The conditions were icy and windy with a couple of sections where I had to post hole up to my hips. Nothing too difficult and well worth the climb to see the sun rising over the rockies.
